Having problems when pasting text from another source (i.e., Microsoft Word...etc)

I remember this happened not too long ago, then it was fixed. Now all of the sudden when I paste my posts from Word onto the web page and hit 'Submit', certain characters are replaced with "?", even simple things such as apostrophies.

I've seen other circumstances where the pasted version of a news story gets so jumbled up with odd characters it becomes difficult to read.

Is this issue being addressed or will it be in the future?

Thanks

Bryan

WordA ==) ??*
WordB ==) ?*?

I think you're pasting unicode. Don't do that for right now. I'll try converting the database to utf-8 tonight to see if that fixes everything.

Or do you mean like

that? Are those two characters graphic question marks in your browser?
