HELP! Trying too determine what kind of pistol I have...

We were moving and my wife showed me a pistol her grandfather brought back from his tour in WW2 Germany. I have searched online with no luck. Very few markings. Crest stamp is hard to make out. Will post pictures soon, but what I do know now: It's an autoloader, small frame, 32 ACP, and the barrel is hinged (flips forward like a break-barrel). Have shot it, and at 25ft it is suprisingly accurate. Can anyone help?

Try this link http://www.carbinesforcollectors.com...utoworld1.html

See if any of the pictures match. If not, your best bet is to post pictures of what you have.

Look like this?

Could also be a S&W but I would think that would be marked.

As he pointed out...

Quote:
It's an autoloader
Just from the description and Naterstein's list, maybe one of these? Looks like it would tip up...

Ok- here are the pics of it- Hope they help.

Here are the photos of it. Looks to be an "N P V" stamped on right side, but hard to make it out.

I believe what you have is a Steyr 1908/34 police pistol.
