Which brass to buy

I've been reloading for my rifles for a few years now, but have never done any reloading for pistols. I picked up a 357 mag on Monday and would like to start doing some reloading for it. I usually stick with Winchester brass for rifles and haven't had a problem with it, so I figured thats what I would get for my 357. Well, I can't seem to find any. I've been looking around and found a few companies that have new brass in stock and ready to go. Both starline and top brass are priced closely on 1000 pieces. Starline is $114 and Top is $118. Which one should I order, or are there any others I can get ahold of?

Thanks,
Matt

Try www.ammobrasstrader.com ...you may have something you can trade and have no money involved. I know for a fact there are some listings for .357 right now.

For a handgun round that isn't used for precision or long range shooting, I'd say you can get by with just about anything, though I would keep my eye open and avoid at all costs the single WORST brass in the history of man & time: A-Merc brass. I have found S&B brass to be not a whole lot better, but nothing is worse than A-Merc.

Look for lots of once-fired brass on Gunbroker or here on TFL.

If I'm choosing between Starline and Top Brass, I'm certainly going with a well-known supplier, and that's Starline.

If you want to save money, Gun Broker has tons of brass that you can bid on.
Most of it is once fired.
You can really save a lot of money by going that route.
Just a thought.

Good Brass

Starline is Very good brass for NEW. Looking for once Fired, do the Google thing and it finds Cheynnebrass.com, and www.tjconevera.com brass for sale.

I have bought from both and the quality of the product is Very good and shipped in 1-2 business days. You will need to tumble these to clean them up, but what you get is First Quality Range once fired Brass. In 40S&W you do get some Glock fired brass, but not many.
