Which dies for 38 LC?

Do I need special 3-die set to reload 38 LC or will the standard 38 Spl/357 3-die set work for this? Reason I ask, is Lee sells a 3-die set for 38 Short Colt/38 LC and one for 38SPL/357.

I can't find a listing in my reloading manuals for the 38 Colt; I wanted to look at the dimensioned drawing. I looked at several die mfrs listings, and they don't show the caliber. If no one is forthcoming with the needed info, a pragmatic approach would be to e-mail Redding (they'll reply within a day's time) and ask what they recommend for the caliber. If they don't suggest the 38 Spl or 38 S&W set, assume you're lucky to have the Lee set available.

I have an old Colt Lightning and although I have not loaded for it in a number of years, when I did I used regular .38/.357 dies made by Lee. I recall reading that the taper is different between the LC and Special cartridges, but I do not think it is enough to matter.

The only possible problem would be that the .38 Special seating die would not crimp .38 Long Colt. Diameters are the same.
