Rem 700 223 SPS Blackhawk?
I had the itch to pick up a sporty looking 223 just to punch targets with out to 300 maybe 400 yards with this particular gun. I think this new Blackhawk looks pretty awesome but how does it shoot, I see it has the X mark trigger, bull barrel, and is bedded with a Hogue stock. Seems like it should shoot very well but has anyone actually used one

I am only experienced with the SPS tactical with Hogue stock. Mine has produced sub moa groups with handloads and I think will do better the more I tinker with it. The stock looks like it may be more comfortable to shoot prone and the stock adjusts so you may be able to get your ideal LOP. Perhaps a google search on the stock itself may lead you to someone who put it on their similiar rifle. Let us know if you decide to pull the trigger on it.

Maybe I am just old fashioned, but I like traditional stocks. Shooting that stock off a rest is possible, but not the easiest thing you will ever do.
