I'm a published author now.

Sort of.

Okay, not really. I got an article published in a minor blog.

Quote:
Is 10mm “Too Much”?

There seem to be two camps when it comes to the utility of 10mm. There are those who believe it to be God’s second great gift to mankind, the first being the 1911, which was bestowed through His prophet, John Browning, peace be upon him. Then there are those who believe it is “too much.” Too much penetration, too much recoil, too much money, you name it.

Now, I’m not the kind of man who’s particularly interested in telling another man what to do. You do what suits you best. Heck, some people juggle geese. But if you’re one of those in the second category, I’d like to dispel a few myths for you. If you still disagree, that’s your prerogative, but at least you’ll have learned something.

The rest is here if you're interested.

If its not YOUR blog (or your wife's blog) then I'd say 'yes you really are published.' You wrote somenting, you convinced somebody to print it...you're 'published', (IMhO).

And I liked your article on the 10mm.

Thank you. It's not my own but it's a pretty minor publication. So yeah, technically published but not like American Rifleman picked me up on contract.

It looks like I've found the person I need to sweet talk in order to acquire some 10mm brass for my latest project.
It's an 8" 10 mm barrel for my Contender. The blank was ordered from Shilen and Match Grade Machine is doing the work.

I just landed dies, Lock-n-Load shell holder, and 1000 bullets. The major retailers and wholesalers were out of brass.

I would've liked to read your article but I couldn't get rid of the big pop-up in the middle of the screen.

LOL, yeah, it may not be playing nicely with your browser. Out of curiosity, what device and browser are you using and I'll see if I can reproduce the situation. It's not my site but I'm always interested in that sort of thing.
