accu-choke barrel

I found a barrel laying around the basement not really sure were I came up with it. The barrel says 12 guage 28in 2/34 3in. Will it work on a Rem 870. The barrel does not say who the mfg is but I assume its a Mossberg.

Can't say without seeing it. Mossberg does make barrels for the Remington 870, but that doesn't mean it is an 870 barrel.

If it says "accu choke" it's a Mossberg and won't fit a Remington

Do you have a picture of the barrel? Does it have a large bolt under it to fasten to the tube or a large hole?
