I have not shot them that much, but the Wideners 1/2" thick targets show no wear after being hit several times with 223 FMJ and HP at 50 yards. From farther out, too, but as close as 50.

Wideners has various shapes, and watch the shipping deals 'cause steel ain't light weight.

Have you considered making your own or contracting a local shop?

It's easy to make targets and in addition to getting it built for your style you'd be supporting a local business.

Thanks. I just picked up some from my local shop from http://www.grizzlytargets.com. They are good to go.

Good targets

I just had several hundreds of dollars of targets made at Zeiglers Welding downtown Olympia. The made them all out of AR500 steel. That is the important thing when shooting rifles at them. If you are just going to be shooting pistols, then B-36 steel is just fine. We shot some green tipped .233 rounds at them last weekend and they didn't even dimple the steel. I had square and round targets made with brackets for 2x4 stands so I can easily change the configuration of my target arrays for different scenarios.

I picked up two of the 1/2" steel targets from Wideners and they are tough!

Here's a short video of the target shot at about 50 yards with my AR.
