Reusing pulled primers

I use a Dillon auto primer when I reload. About once in 250 rounds, I will discover that a primer was backwards, so I will pull the bullet, dump the power, and cautiously deprime the live primer.

I've always thrown these primers away. Does anyone reuse primers in a situation like this? Will there be any problem with reusing the primer?

Yep. I've reused quite a few. They all go bang.

No problem in my experience, but I would save these for range fodder and not trust them for critical things like hunting or self defence loads.

I recycle them too. Never have had a failure to ignite.

Reuse them, they will work just fine.

Like everyone else, I reuse mine. I'm sure the anvil is seated deeper from the depriming action (for properly seated primers), but all have gone bang. I do isolate them to non-critical loads.

Oh No! Say it ain't true!

Turn 'em around and seat 'em in an empty case.

(I do recommend wearing safety glasses while reloading.)

Same as above; have reused quit a few. No discernable problems. Just keep your glasses on when doing the depriming.

I pitch them. At the small cost of a primer its a waste of time and futzing for me.

On the other hand I reload to shoot, not reload for the wah and harmony (I don't dislike it, but I would rather shoot)

I don't brush up stray grains of powder off the bench either!

If they are not deformed in any way, I use them. Never had one that did not go boom.
