Nick's first buck
Youth weekend in Texas was a success for my 10 year old. He shot a doe last year but really wanted a buck this time around. He was very happy, as you can see, with his one shot kill with a 6mm Remington from just under 100 yards.

That is a nice unusual rack on him! Real long tines and not real wide accentuates them well!

Congratulations Nick!!! Nice buck! Enjoy the experience....keep it on the wall to remind yourself of the experience! Never forget it is the company and the experience that makes hunting what it is ...not the killing of the deer...that is just the culmination of the hunt not the whole of the hunt...You are BLESSED to have a dad willing to spend this time with you and help you experience this!
