Not thrilled with DeSantis Speed Scabbard

This is the reason why I have a drawer full of holsters. I just can't find one I like.

This thing is uncomfortable, rides too high and flops around like crazy. You'd think a J-frame holster would be near invisible, not this one.

From now on I'm buying holsters with a flat inner face.

Make sure that you use a GOOD belt. Then retry all of the holsters in your box.

I do. One is a Galco, the other a VERY stiff tactical nylon from a local gun store.

Check out the Galco Fletch High Ride holster. I carry my Smith J frame in one it pretty much disappears.

I also carry my Glock 22 in the same model and it conceals pretty well in the winter.

Odd, the speed scabbard is one of my favorites for OWB carry.

I like the speed scabbard for my S&W M&P 40c. No problems with my Galco 1 1/2" belt.
