WESH-2; www.wesh.com reports that the Sanford PD will now put a hold on George Zimmerman's Kel-Tec 9x19mm, ammunition, flashlights, property etc because of the new US DoJ/CRD investigation.
Mark O'Mara said he wants the PF9 9x19mm pistol destroyed but it's now secured by the Sanford Police Dept pending the results of the DoJ case.

If the item may be considered evidence in future proceedings, that may be understandable. We don't know, because we don't have a direct link to a story that verifies it.

Moreover, we've already got other threads running on the Zimmerman case, and we don't need another.
