do you mean max-con?

I have a Max-Con V for my 5" 1911-A1. It is the only holster that I ever carry that gun in. I am more than impressed with it. I am truly amazed at how well it conceals the gun... we're talking invisible with just shorts and a not too tight t-shirt or (preferably) a button down shirt. ...Great for 100% discreet personal security behind socialist lines.

I'd recommend it wholeheartedly, I'm sure I'll buy another one in the future myself. If it can make a full-size stainless 1911 comfortable to carry, I can only imagine how comfy a lighter sidearm would be with Gary's leather.

I ordered the Def-Con last week. Gary was very nice, and I am looking forward to receiving the holster.

I hope he does not put mine first in line just because I am old, and causes everyone else to wait.
Now, he did not indicate that, but I want you to know what a nice person I really am..

I suspect it will take 10 - 12 weeks or longer, but I am in no hurry. I just want a top notch product when it gets here. I am confident that I will be very pleased based upon the comments here.
Thanks for the comment.

Yeah, I hope you're patient. Mine took over 3 months to get to me.. but I'd wait for it all over again. I'd put Gary's work right up there with Milt Sparks. If you don't need/want the tuckable option and reinforced mouth of the VM-2, the Max-Con V is the best IWB holster (atleast for a 1911) out there when it comes to comfort, concealment, security, durability, and good looks... atleast, in my humble opinion.

I have come to accept the fact that good craftsmen have a backlog, and know that I will have to wait. If I get mine in three months I will be happy.

I have a couple of Sparks holsters on order, and expect about that time frame.

Fortunately or unfortunately, I have two drawers of holsters. Some of them are satisfactory, but just not what I want. Therefore, if it is 3 or 4 months I won't really miss them, and expect to be very pleased when I get them.

I don't mind waiting for excellent holsters, but expect them to be flawless when they come.

As for IWB, I find the Sparks EX just about as perfect as an IWB is going to be. The extra leather comforms to my body, and the muzzle does not dig in.

Mostly, I carry with a pancake holster under a shirt.

Website for Brommeland? I am looking right now. Thanks. I'll do a search anyway, so no big deal.
