1873 black powder revolver- any good?

Saw a 1873 colt design in black powder. The loading gate was to place the caps and it had an external loading tool. This was the first I have seen. I have my Ruger old Army which shoots great but is kind of ugly. This one looked pretty but how does it shoot? Anybody out there have a 1873 in Black Powder?
