Any ideas why these guns are no longer imported? Any good or bad about them?

I don't have the reasons why the importation was discontinued in 1990, but my records indicate that handguns from this Mfg were imported by European American Armory, located in shapes FL. Prior to EAA Sile Distributors, Inc, located in NY NY and by Saco, located in Arlington VA

If my memory serves, these importers have an 800 number, and your questions may be ans'd there.

I had a Benelli .22 auto, imported by EAA, came in a green plastic Box, emblazoned EAA. Don't know the model, but it looked like a high speed target pistol like they use in the Olympics, it shot like a house afire! I got rid of it because I wanted another .45 auto. This was in '94 the gun ban days, in the Peoples Republic of Virginia... If anyone gets a chance, and wants a top notch .22, this one qualifies!

You progably have this information, but if you would need or like the field strip slides on that pistol you can find in @
http://gunresearch.ixworld.com

left click your cursor on the pistol photo. Go to the letter B you'll find it shown.
