Supressor???
Hey guys I found a supressor for sale it is a "Cobra" by Yankee Hill Machine/Sound Technologies. Says it offers a sound reduction of 35db. I was wondering if anyone heard of this or had one and if so how you liked it. Does anyone know exactly how loud this will be? Any comments greatly appreciated. http://www.yhm.net/store/cobra9mm.html--you can check it out here.

Yankee Hill products that I have experience with are very good. 35 db reduction is actually very good suppression for a 9mm suppressor especially since they indicate that this is a dry sound reduction. It would be safe to shoot with this suppressor without hearing protection. It would probably sound a little louder than a fully pumped up pellet gun.
I would say it is a good choice. http://www.yankeehillmachine.com/store/cobra9mm.html

I'd hit some silencer websites for discussion forums, and see who's heard it compared to other cans. -35db doesn't mean much, as depending on how you test, you can get a reading with a 15db swing.

Value wise, it is a good can. There are others which are better/quieter, but for the money, the YHM is pretty decent.
