Can I reload these....

Hi, I was wondering if I could reload the Remington 30-06 Springfield Accelerator 55 grain. If so, would it be hard to reload?

I've never used that particular ammo, as I understand it they are regular cases loaded with a sabot to hold a smaller caliber bullet, the fired case is exactly like any other case, no difference, easily reloadable.

Would I have to load the shells singly or could I put 4 in the clip and go?

You should have no problem loading 4 rounds in your gun. Just remember that you need some amount of crimping to hold the sabots in place so the bullets don't move during recoil. I have loaded some of these in the past but the accuracy wasn't all that good for me. Fast yes, accurate,,,, fair. I did better with 110 gr bullets. Hope this helps somewhat

Are the sabots for these rounds available for handloading as a componant? I've always wanted to handload some accellerators but didn't think they sold them that way. Where are they available at?

I bought some so that I could duplicate some other round but I think they are the ones you want.

E. Arthur Brown Co. in Mn. You can order them online. I bought the sabot kit so I don't know how much the sabots themselves cost but the kit was $19.90 and although I forget how much I bought and haven't counted them, I think there are a 100 sabots.

Whoa, nice setup they have! Comes with a special die. Hadn't thought of that but wondered if any special operation would be required.
