Trilux Scopes - what's a "reasonable" price?
I've been thinking about getting a Trilux Scope for my FAL. But, I can't figure out why the price on these things is so high. When I look at these old scopes, they look like they should cost about $35 - $50. But they seem to be going for $150 on up, and more often than not the tritium has gone dead. Also, they don't seem to be all that rare.
What's the deal with these scopes - are they really that good.....rare.....or just over priced? |

Simple rugged waterproof & one of the best combat optics ever made. (look at a SUSAT if you doubt me) BTW if you can find one for $150 I wish you luck, the good ones are $250 & up plus the mount. The tritium illuminator was not missing it was removed before import into the U.S. to comply with NRC rules about beta emitters. |
