Anyone know of a source for the Remington .358" 150gr CL-PSP bullet they use in their .35 Remington cartridge?

The 150gr .35 Remington load is #R35R1 and is carried by Midway, and a few others. Remington is the only one who makes a .358" bullet lighter than 180gr in .35 caliber. The bullet makes for a very nice, flat-shooting .357 Maximum for the NEF single shot rifle, (rechambered .357 Magnum). Because of the location of the crimp groove, you can load it hotter than a 158gr JHP bullet and it carries more energy further downrange due to the bullet shape. The jacket is tougher and isn't as likely to fragment compared to some of the handgun bullets either.

35 Reminton bullets
I have been a great fan of the 35 Remington for years. There is a reason why 150 grain bullets for this gun are harder to find. The reason is that the 200 grain bullet performs circles around the 150 grain.I have a mint Mod. 81 Remington with a vintage 4x Weaver scope.I routinely can shoot 3 shot groups you can cover with a quarter at 100 yds! The 150 grain bullets does not perform anywhere near this good.

You would think though that Remington would make that bullet available as a separate component given the sheer number of .35 caliber cartridges out there. They're not just the sole maker of a 150gr .358" rifle bullet; they've been doing it for as long as I can remember. Somebody has to be buying it.

DWFan: now I see your dilema. Rem makes the loaded 150grCL ammo, but does not release the 150grCL bullet for sale as a component. Your only hope would be to call the factory and by some act of a higher power, have them supply you with some. Good Luck.
Master Blaster: Now I can see why noone lists a 35 Rem 150gr load, because there are no 150gr bullets available to reloaders. Hodgdon included.
