AZ gun owners.

Does anyone know the law about carrying a loaded handgun in your vehicle? At 18? I know I am legally allowed to own a handgun as long as it was purchased through private party or gifted, but I drive a Jeep CJ7 w/ no top or doors so I think it would add a little security at night when driving to be able to toss one of my pistols in there.

According to this:
http://www.opencarry.org/az.html

You may openly carry your loaded handgun in your vehicle so long as it is completely visible or in the glovebox. Also on that page is the link to the actual Arizona statutes.
