scope question

my dads remington 40x has a scope on it that he said they dont make anymore I cant remember how to spell it but it sounds like you are saying(your noodle)its very long you can move it then it springs right back it will do it on both ends this is his old match scope.the clearness is unreal!! i have shot some very good groups with it. actually it is my favorite scope!!

Unertl?
The company is still in business, making an internal adjustment sniper scope for the Marines. They seem not to list the old target scopes any more, though. Mr Unertl died in 1960, his son died in 1998 and his widow sold out in 2000.

yes thats it! sorry about the (your noodle thing) he said something about a goverment contract for the military.it will bring the target right up to your nose! not sure what power it is.are they still being manufactured like the ones in the photos??
