Walther PPK

Why doesn't Walther make the PPK in 9mmP any more? They did in the 80's.

Are you sure?

I have owned several PPK's and to my knowledge they have only been in 22, 32, or 380 - some Walther "Supers" were made in 9MM ultra but it is not the same thing as 9mm parabellum/luger.

The Walther PPK was never made in 9mm Parabellum.
You may be thinking 9mm Kurz, which is the .380 ACP.

I don't think I would want to shoot a PPK in 9mm Parabellum. The blowback design just never was meant to handle anything bigger than a .380.

Sounds like something "Q" worked up for 007.

While not in the PPK, Walther did make a 9mm parabellum in a blowback design in the model 6. It was made to try to cash in on the WW1 military contracts. The gun was basically nothing more than a "beefed up" model 4. It was an unsuccessful design and is quite rare today.
