I would love to be able to get real tennifer done, but not going to happen in the us.

Tennifer isn't actually a finish, it's a surface treatment for the metal. The finish is applied over the Tennifer treatment.

Yes, i am aware that tennifer is a surface treatment. However, this discussion really hits on durability, and tennifer, while not doing much for apearance, is very durable. It resists wearing, and resists rust rather well.
A that point, you can rattle can it if you want, its just cosmetic. As i understand it, melonite without the cyanide salts isnt quite as hard as the tennifer with cyanide salts. However, at that point, it may be semantics. |
