Gun range and shop map in Washintgon State

So, we have spent a little time over the last week compiling data on local shops and ranges using Google, personal knowledge and info from other sites. we put all that data onto a couple of different online interactive maps.

we were pretty amazed on how many gun stores are in the area, as well as how many ranges (private and public).

The Range List is here:
http://www.waguns.org/rangemap

The Gun Shop List is here:
http://www.waguns.org/storemap

Let me know if we missed any, or if any info is incorrect. Even though there are A LOT of sites, I know we probably missed quite a few.

While you listed the Hole in the Wall (Kennewick) you missed a couple others in the tri cities and in Yakima.

And you missed the Tri-Cities Shooting Association, which runs the Rattlesnake range complex outside of Benton City.

Horse Heaven Sportsman Society just outside of Prosser. Its a private club, but a good place to go shooting.

Dump Road
Prosser, WA 99350

As for gun stores:

Ranch and Home
845 N Columbia Ctr Blvd, Kennewick, WA, 99336

Columbia Gun Rack
318 W Kennewick Ave, Kennewick, WA, 99336

Stadler Arms
3307 River Rd, Yakima, WA, 98902

I don't know who his supplier is, but the guy at Stadler arms can get ANYTHING. Even in the depths of the great ammo shortage of 08-09 he could get you ANYTHING. It was amazing.

Ranges = BullsEye Shooter Supply has an indoor range, so does The Marksman. Cascade Rifle and Pistol Club has an outdoor range literally right next to Seattle Skeet and Trap. Black Diamond Gun Club 34862 Enumclaw - Black Diamond Rd. Black Diamond, WA 98010 (360)886-8047

Stores = I think this store is still open. Tacoma Gun & Bow 13005 Pacific Avenue South, Tacoma, WA 98444-4857 (253) 537-6665 ‎

We need more rifle ranges close to Lewiston/Clarkston. Diamondback is ok, but I like to shoot my rifles at range every so often.

I don't really like the Lapwai range, the rules are very complicated (albeit lawyer friendly and very safe). Makes you feel like a criminal and you should feel privileged and lucky to have a place to shoot there.

There's also a very good place at the eastern end of Union Gap, although I cannot right now recall the name of the place.

I have been to Stadler arms, on a few occasions, and no matter what oddball thing you are looking for, the guy will tell you he had one last week, and sold it. Have also been clearly lied to, being told he had no .30 carbine ammo, when I could see boxes of it on the shelf through the door to his back room. I will not deal with that "gentleman" any longer.

You missed one in Bothell. Shooting Sports Northwest. Indoor/Semi_private (it requires a tiered membership fee min $50)/pistol and rifle/reactive targets if you pay for top membership.

http://www.shootingsportsnorthwest.com/

Co-located with a Discount Gun Sales shop. They carry mostly handguns and tactical rifles and shotguns. Gun rentals available.

One of my local favorites is:

2 Brothers Tactical

4096 Van Giesen, Suite C
West Richland, WA 99353

509-967-7200

They focus (as you may guess) not so much on hunting, target, or competition shooting, but primarily on tactical firearms and the various web gear accoutrements, uniform items, and other ancillary items related to tactical operations. They've always been easy for me to work with.

YMMV.

Might consider adding Big 5 Sporting Goods chain to the list.

Just for the record, Anacortes Telescope seems to be displaying guns, I don't think sales are good. Didn't see Holiday Sports in Burlington, might have missed it. Kesselrings is still the best shop in the northern tier of Puget Sound.

I have gone back and forth on Big 5... Kind of like Walmart...

Holiday Sports is not on there. Er.. currently. That will be rectified in minutes.

Thanks!

Maps have been updated with more honey holes and a few more shops on the dry side of WA.
