454/45lc powdwer selection

hi guys, i have been loadin a bunch of 454 lately with 31gr of h110 behind a 300 gr xtp. i have experianced no issues with the h110. I just aquired a blackhawk hunter in 45lc and want to shoot it with h110, looks like 21gr should do the trick. Here are my questions

1- will the primers in the colt have any trouble igniting h110. should i use large pistol mag primers

2- is little gun a better powder for both.

Definately....

......use large magnum pistol primers with H-110. I prefer AA-9 for my +P .45 Colt loads. I also like IMR-4227.
