I'd guess my SP 101 in .357. That is just a guess of course.

All of my handguns are too loud to shoot without hearing protection so it's really kinda a moot point above a certain decibel level.

T/C Contender 10" ported 45-70.
At least that's what people around me at the range say.

My model 60 snub in .357. Don't own the gun anymore, but I still have the ringing in my left ear.

.30 Ruger Blackhawk, no question, especially with hot handloads. But the 4" Security Six is right on up there with 125 grain .357's.

My BFR in 460 followed by either the 454 Super Redhawk or the SP101 in 327.

I think my dad's Lone Eagle in 30-06 takes the cake though.

Sorry, could you repeat that? I have been enjoying my Ruger redhawk 44 magnum and my reading is shaky!

If you've never heard a pistol length gun that fires a rifle cartridge, you've never heard a loud handgun. The uber-magnum revolver cartridges that run near rifle pressures are probably the exception to that.

My 15" Encore Pro Hunter in 7mm-08 is positively deafening. It's absolutely a double ear protection gun and you DO NOT want to be close to anything resembling a wall when you shoot it.

In terms of traditional handguns, my 3.46" 357sig never fails to get "What the HELL are you shooting down there, son?!" at the indoor range.

10" Draco aka AK-47 pistol firing 7.62x39. Emptying a 30 round mag is painful without ear protection, I've heard.

Don't really have any super powerful handguns. This is about as loud as it gets for me.

My Broomhandle chambered in 30 Mauser came to mind first, then I remembered about my ported Taurus 44 mag, I haven't shot that one in several years.
