Chokes and slugs

Hi,

I just wanted to ask if it is save to shoot brenneke slugs out of a barrel with a improved cylinder choke? I have a short double from baikal and shot about thirty of them through it, after taking out both cylinder and improved cylinder chokes the improved cyl. choke has a thick layer of lead on it. The cylinder choke only a little bit. I know that the much tighter improved cylinder ''compresses'' the slug, is that dangerous?

Thanks!

Very safe and that choke is considered one of the better for accuracy.

Brenneke slugs are safe in all chokes, but don't take my word for it. Check the Q&A section at Brenneke's web page (it's under products).
