I just received a parker double barrel 12ga as a gift it has the letters gh and1 1/2 stamped on the barrel it has a single trigger and the serial #222269 the stock is cracked but the gun is in good shape no rust or pitting any help regarding value would be appreciated thanks

The GH was a popular grade working gun. The 1 1/2 represents the frame size. Value of a Parker is determined by the condition and amount of case hardening left on the steel.

I had a friend that owned four Parkers. One was his, the other three had belonged to his father and grandfather. He was a quail hunter and only used these guns. I think he kept a close connection with his old hunting buddies that way.
Those were the only Parkers I've ever held. Mark.
