Browning Hi Power for $379?

At the gun show I just attended, one of the vendors had about 10 NITB (he says) Browning Hi Powers in 9mm for $379. Most of the places I look online have them for over $800. Is this an insanely good deal, or is this guy taking people for a ride?

Are they actually Brownings? Made in Belgium? Assembled in Portugal?

Yeah... I'm kinda curious about that one myself.

When you run into these too good to be true kinda deals, that's where a phone with camera and interweb access really come in handy.
Photo of each side of the gun... post it and wait for some answers.

Sounds fishy, but if it's legit, that's the deal of the decade.

A batch of Argentine hi-powers just entered the country I believe.
Not NIB from SOG, but maybe there were unissued ones someone picked up.

Yeah I wish I had taken a picture of it. Before today, I had never handled a Browning so I didn't know much about it, and I didn't know what they priced out at. From what I observed, it was the pistol and one extra magazine in a fairly narrow but sturdy cardboard box. I didn't see any papers and anything else with it, which raised a red flag. The gun itself looked to be in great shape, but I don't know enough about them to be a definitive judge. I may go back tomorrow and grab some pics if I can, and maybe even purchase one after some Q&A with the vendor.

So I went back to the show today and talked with the vendor. They were the Argentinian models, that's why they were so cheap
