born on date for 11-87?

I tried a search and couldn't find anything.
I was wondering when my Remington 11-87 Special Purpose was made.
The serial number is TCO88 _ _ _

If your 1187 is a 12 ga, the first 2 characters should be PC instead of TC...using that information, the gun was built in 1988. Let me know if you have questions.
