rem. marine magnum question

I just got my marine magnum and i cannot remove the barrel, is this because of the magizine extension? or am i missing something obvious?

Step one, unload gun. Then, Remove clamps holding mag extension to barrel. Now, unscrew mag extension and lift off. Barrel should come off. It is super easy to clean with that coating.

Step 3....
Take barrel and place it in a shipping carton and send to Hans Vang like I did with my MM for his Vang Comp Mod.... 8-)

I happen to have an extra 2 round mag extension that is a lot better built than the stock Rem. part if you are interested.
