Thunderzaps.

Howdy y'all.
I happened across a full 50rd box of thunderzaps. Still has the paper across the top of the rounds. Box is in great shape as well, as it was in an ammo can and out of the weather.
My question is, what is it worth?
Thanks,
Keith.

This stuff is a little too collectible for shooting, so your best bet is probably going to be to sell the full box to a retailer like ammo-one.com , and he's going to sell them off individually to collectors, probably for $1.25 a round or so.
This stuff was sold by Richard Davis for use as ultra-high velocity SD ammo in j-frame-sized revolvers, with a plastic bullet at ~2500-2800 fps.

A friend once had a box of the centerfire stuff. It was advertised as Thermo Hydrostatic Ordnance Rounds. "THOR," get it? Just to drive the point home, it was labelled "law enforcement only."

It's proof that hyperbole in ammunition marketing is hardly a new phenomenon.

http://www.gunauction.com/buy/844318...-zap-duel-pack

this guy is trying to get rich off his, 0 bids though, i cant find any other for sale online to get a reasonable price, i would think 3 bucs a round would be fair, surely will take awhile to find a buyer, but someone out there wants it, especially in the box

i would hit armslist and start high on the price, but accept offers and see what people come at you with, or just trade for supply that you actualy need

hell, with 7 boxes, you may be able to get a decent low-end firearm out of it

are these boxes of 50 or 20? i am too young to know how these were sold

but lets say your looking at 25x7, take that to 3$ a round, you should be able to get a nice trade for a 4-500$ gun, guns arent going down in value: but your ammo probably wont either

not sure my point, except, that i would look for a sweet trade over cash for somethign actually useful, and i would hit armslist first and then try the botique bullet places if that was unsucessful

There are boxes of 50.
That is another thing I was gonna try as well.
And you are correct, cash is nice, but sweet trades are nice too.
Keith.
