DR XL1 1 1/8 oz Wads

http://conniescomponents.com/downrange_xl_1_18.html

Anyone have any experience with these? According to the site they can replace WAA12 wads for 1/18 loads.

I'll pick em up if they're a good replacement.

I’m not exactly sure as I have never used these wads, but I think the Downrange replacement for a WAA12 wad is the DRA-12 white. You might want to check before you buy the blue ones just in case the data you want to use is not compatible.

This is what I just bought.

http://www.downrangemfg.com/products/item/13/

According to the site:

Please Note:

This wad maybe substituted for these popular wads.

WAA12, CB1118-12, CB0118-12, WT12 & Blue Duster

I made a small order, just to try them out.

If anyone is interested in them, I'll be using them in Win AA hulls, 17.5 gr Red Dot, 1 1/8 oz #7 1/2 shot, W209 primers. I'll post the paper spread tests (photos) when I get done.
