Strange type of Match

Someone recently told me that they saw a shooting competition on TV where the targets were on the opposite side of a body of water as the shooters. In this competition the bullets had to skip off the water and then hit the targets. I don?t doubt that this is possible just not sure if it?s an organized sport. Anyone else herd of this? If it?s real what?s it called?

Never heard of it but it sounds pretty crazy. That'd be fun to try.

Proably from the redneck shooting school. Kinda like the one where bubba drives his snowmobile across the water and joe bob blasts clay pigeons off the back.

I have actually heard of this. It is supposedly in Germany and is done with .22's.

Yeah, the guy who told me about it said they were using low velocity small caliber rifles like .22 short or something. This guy is always telling some kind of wild story and I?d say less than half of them are true but I find it amusing to listen to him and then check up on what he says to see what?s real and what?s not. I?ll have to do some more searching on this.
