I am having a 1982 Winchesterser 44-40 24" ser no 23*** round barrel put back into working condition.
This piece has traces of gold all over it. The reciever is case hardened and it has adjustable trigger pull. Thir is supposed to be a revolver with the same serial number out there somewhere. I have all the parts except a vintage hammer pin and stirrup. At present I am bidding on one.
Anyone know of one available please let me know.
Anyone familiar with this rifle? It was used by my grandfather and my father.
Siblings played with it and messed it up some.
