In balance,when someone offers "I have an education in ...." to gain credibility,it can seem condescending.Yes?Were you not implying your education gave cause to dismiss my advise?

I spent decades as a prototype machinist /model maker/moldmaker in machine shops working with very educated young engineers.They had a lot to learn.

The classroon provides useful tools,but in balance,life provides experience.
