Grab a RockRiverArms LAR15 from "grabagun" deal or not?

Long story short, after missed yesterday's noveske, I am suddenly in a so desperate desire for an AR-15.

So after lunch today, I opened grabagun.com, and found three AR15 in stock, one DDV7, two RRA LAR15. I was clicking first RRA LAR15 (it is a entry tactical w/o handle, price 1090), trying to add to cart, it shows "out of stock".

Then I clicked DDV7 (price 1500), no luck again. So I was like yeah the website may be just flirting buyer like me. However when I tried to add another RRA LAR15 (entry tactical w/ handle, price 1120), it actually let me checked out through.....

So, $1130 for a rock river arms entry tactical 16 inch chrome lined barrel, m4 style, non-tactical handle. What you guys think?

That's a good deal in "today's world". But, be warned, just because it let you check out doesn't mean you are going to take delivery of that gun. I recently tried to purchase a magazine for a Sig X-Five (shown as in stock) from Gunclips. I checked out and (thought) I had paid for it. I followed up several days later and got a rude email from someone at Gunclips saying "I emailed you to tell you we were out of stock". I never received any email, that was a lie. They never made good on delivering my magazine, but they also never ran my credit card, so I was not charged.

Not saying this is going to happen to you, but just beware.

I think my eyes are going to start bleeding from the size of your text.
Seriously though, IF the gun really does exist and then ship it you as described then that is a pretty good deal in todays market.

Before the election it was maybe a $950-$1,000 rifle so an increase of roughly 10% is not bad.

I actually paid a couple of dollars more for almost the exact same RRA rifle. RRA has a good rep, maybe not quite like Colt but still very well respected.

Judging from current prices I've seen online and locally, I say go for it if you really want it now. I was holding out for an ar15 myself, but decided to get a cc handgun and license this time around, and wait on the ar15. But looks like a good deal to me since I seen a dpms Oracle (no less) priced at $2000!

RRA

Hopefully it was in stock and it ships to you. I got my RRA elite operator for 1,100, before the panic started. Hands down better buy than a dpms oracle for 2000!!! IMOP, the RRA is a step above dpms, as I own both brands.

I'd take that deal. RRA is a good rifle and that's a decent price. As a Daniel Defense owner I prefer my DD but I'd happily give it an RRA as a safe-buddy. Our local PD uses RRA and like them.

Grabagun has been a good egg from the start of this. Ditto GunUp, Midway, Brownells, Bud's

Theres a local site Jason'sguns.com with some sellers posting really rediculous prices.

It's odd but the only RRA LAR15 entry tactical I can find on grabagun is listed for 914.60 and shows to be out of stock.

I love my RRA, It's my duty patrol rifle and I carry it daily. That sounds like a good price, especially with the scare going on now .....

I've had mine for 7 years or so and it's been flawless. Has a great trigger out of the box.

Again, it's not a smoking deal...but a deal nonetheless.
