No you want to crimp below the shoulder.

I've used them before and roll crimped them over the top of the band with no problems whatsoever. The only thing I didn't like was the lube is not all that great and the barrel will lead badly if you push them too fast. I'm shooting the 240 HP they make in my smokepole with high speed sabots and really like the accuracy.

I've loaded some with an aol of 1.95 ,crimping just below the shoulder.I'm trying 61/2-71/2 gr of unique. If they lead at those speeds I'll have to mail order some cast bullets.I can find cast for .38,.45acp,.45 colt but the .44s available are in the 180-200 gr range.

Since this is a swagged, nearly pure lead bullet, you should be able to roll crimp directly into the side of the bullet. The mouth will easily dig into the lead, AS LONG AS YOU DON'T OVER DO IT! And as long as the case length is pretty close.
Since most loads for this bullet are in the light range, you don't have to worry much about excessive recoil working the bullet out of the case,(increasing OAL).
