Mounted CAS Blanks??
a couple of us, in the local CAS group, want to try timed shoots on horseback. it doesnt appear that anyone makes black powder blanks specifically for this but there's alot of full and half load black powder blanks available.
which ones are appropriate for mounted CAS? anyone out here in western Kansas doing this? thanks tom |

You can go to the SASS Wire. They have a forum dedicated to mounted shooting. http://sassnet.com/forums/index.php?act=idx

CAS Mounted may use ONLY certified blanks. I understand that the gun is loaded by the range officer to be doubly sure.
As Hawg says, check on the SASS site. There is another outfit doing similar; they have a list of sources at http://www.cowboymountedshooting.com/approved_ammo.htm |
