Winchester shotshells

Winchester makes or made two different types of shells(I think) one was the AA type with a single body and the other was a straight tube with a plastic base wad. I have an old 16 gauge and I have a lot of the cheap game loads, upland, etc. that appear to be the straight tube with seperate plastic base wad. Has anyone reloaded these shells and how well have they worked?
