40 S&W, 165gr TCFM Zero Data Needed
I just picked up 1000 Zero TCFM (Flat Nose Full Metel Jacket) 40 S&W bullets and need some loading data.
I have Winchester 231, Unique, and Clays (Not Universal Clays) powders. From what I'm reading, 4.8 to 5.2 grains of 231 is a good load (low to high) but I want to be sure. I can't find much on Unique or Clays. Any good recommendations on amount of powder and this bullet? Thanks |

I'm using Extremes 165g bullet with 6g of Unique. Shoots well in my G35. Hope that helps you.

For what it's worth, I reload those according to Speer's data for their 165gr FMJ bullets. I'd say that as long as you find a similar bullet style in the reloading data (for example a different manufacturer's brand of a 165 FMJ bullet) you should be good to go.

Pretty much all I could find is data for 165gr JPH's. In my Hornady manual it gives the same data for HP as it does for FMJ's on most bullets.
So, I used my Hodgdon annual data for a 165gr JHP. I happened into a local store and found a 1000 pack of Winchester Small Pistol primers (woohoo, lucky me) and while I was there I picked up a pound of TiteGROUP to play with. I used the data and loaded a batch of 50 with 4.8gr of TiteGROUP. I'll see how they do later this week. Thanks for the input. |

Zero 165 TCFM
That is what they are making right now in .40S&W. I just bought 5000 of 200Gr 40cal S&W 2 weeks ago at the factory in Cullman Al. Cash in the front door makes loading your SUV at the rear shipping door.

I live only 15 minutes from Zero in Cullman. I buy most all of my reloading supplies (except powder) from them. Like you say, pay in the front, load in the back
The have primers now but they are not letting them go since they don't know when they can get more in and they need what they have for their own loading business. |
