Dillon's had roller handle options for some time. In a long, fast loading session, I suppose they keep your hands from getting friction blisters? That one looks prettier than the plastic Dillon, though, so report on the feel of it and not just the looks.

Farmland, tried it..had to chop it shorter, re-thread it and turned out it was a little to short for "easy" leverage.

Unclenick, having read your post, it just dawned on me..could you fit a "kids bicycle grip" over the dillion roller handle?

That bullet tray isn't a terrible idea, but I put one on mine that cost me nothing:
You have to look carefully, but i have a small cardboard box--the kind where the top fits over the bottom--attached to the front of my LNLAP. I nested the bottom inside the top, taped it up to stiffen it, then used a small clamp to attach it to the front vertical member. It's better (IMO) than the bins as I don't have to reach down into a bin to get a bullet. OTOH, it doesn't have quite the capacity, but it's a simple matter to grab a handful of bullets to replenish. A small wooden box of the same dimensions might be ideal for this application. |
