Difference between 686P-5 and 686P-6

I'm looking into purchasing a 686P, and I'd like to get some info on the difference between the -5 and -6 model.

If the only difference is the integral lock mechanism, then I'd be inclined to search for a NIB -5 model (Are those available NIB?).
