Browning shotguns

Hoping someone can help me figure the age of two Browning guns that I inherited, first is a Browning 12 gauge 30" with serial number B16196 gotten from great grandfather supposedly late 30's early 40's. Second is Browning light twelve with engraving with serial numer of 417871? Anybody got any idea?

Your second one is a 1953...

You say that the first one is a "Browning 12 gauge 30"", but do not give the model...

Thinking Remington made 'Browning A5'?

Not enough numbers in the serial, no?
