Milt Sparks Mini-Max and 1911s

I was thinking of carrying the full size 1911 and also in the summer carrying the officer's size. The Mini-Max touts that it can accommodate either size in the same holster. Obviously, this is appealing, but is it worth it?

1) Is the Mini Max worth it?
2) Should I even care about full size or officers sizes? Ishoot both about the same, so accuracy and familiarity are moot.

Help Please!!

Spent my own money on Sparks; 1AT's for Witnesses and 1911, HSR for 5.5" Redhawks.

These are the kinds of holsters folks are talking about when they say "buy the best you can".
