Regional Parks Carry Law
I can't figure this out, either through Google or TFL.
In California, where I live, I have rattlesnakes...everywhere. Now, I know I can shoot 'em on my own land. However. If I go hiking (seriously, I mean hiking.), can I take along my 870, slung over my back, with a couple rounds of birdshot in my pocket or backpack or stock shell carrier for anti-rattler in the summer? By the way, this is on a California Regional Park.

Gives the regulations for State Parks, where all loaded weapons are prohibited except for limited hunting areas. http://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/s...d.php?t=186457 lists regional parks as being under local ordinances, so you would have to contact the particular park in question to find out. |
