Any new updates as to .308 increased availability?

Are there any new updates as to when .308 will become more available? This is getting very frustrating. Thanks.

As soon as you grab up a press and some components.... Factory ammo is pretty much a myth for most people.

There seems to be plenty of it around:

http://gunbot.net/ammo/308-762nato/

...for a price. If you are looking for bulk or range ammo, there are several choices, in brass, at around $1 a round. The "cheap" stuff -- the steel cased imports -- are comparatively overpriced at $0.85+ when you can get brass cased rounds for just 15-20 cents a round more.

Right now, .308 is in decent supply, it is just still expensive. But don't expect it to go back down much any time soon, if ever.

The real problem with .308 right now is powder for reloading. Varget, anyone?

I have just started to see it at under a $1.00 a round, with shipping just slightly over that, from the online sources.
On the shelves here, the ranges always have some but I did pay $1.50 a round for American Eagle.
I think it is becoming more available and the price is coming down a bit. But I think it will remain close to $1.00 per round for even minimal quality from now on.
And I think range prices are always high.
This city is too big to ride or drive around looking for ammo. At least when you know no stores have any.

I don't think ammo availability will improve much until we replace Comrade Obama and his cronies.

Just short on brass and primers here. Factory ammo's slowly coming back here. Except 22LR that is. $50 a brick if you can find it.

Ohio Cabelas

Herters Steel Case, Berdan Primed 150 - 11.99/20

Herters Brass Case, Boxer 150 - 15.99/20

Winchester White Box, 150 - 18.99/20

CBC Brazil Milsurp M80 Ball - 42.99/50rd

also, have various JHPBT with both Nosler and SMK projectiles, for prices that I'm just not willing to pay, but usually between 25-35 a box of 20.

More projectiles are showing up in AZ. No primers unless you wanna pay 80+.

Got plenty to last the year just need primers. Might have to splurge on a few hundred.

There is a parking lot sale here Saturday. 500 rounds for $399. However, it is MagTech.

I used it today to order 120 rounds of Federal XM80C from Aim Surplus at $0.80 a round. I guess I got my order in just in time, because it is now sold out.

If you are willing to pay upwards of $2.00 a round, there are plenty of choices available via gunbot.
