Colt 1903 Pocket Hammerless 32ACP value? VA
Mods, this is not a "for sale" or "for trade" thread. I am trying to ascertain the fair market value of a Colt 1903 Pocket Hammerless in 32ACP that I own. If this thread does not belong here, my apologies; please move to the appropriate forum.
This pistol has it's original grips and magazine. It also came with a set of Mother Of Pearl grips and grip screw when my dad got in the 1950's. This pistol was apparently re-blued sometime before my dad came to owning it. The pearl grips, which are very thick, were never really used because my dad was afraid of cracking them if he shot it with them on. Of interest is the fact that the serial number on the frame of this Colt is 388117...but the serial number on the slide is 389117 (pretty sure it is a "9" and not a light strike that caused the 8 to look like a 9). So, what is fair market value for this old Colt including the pearl grips?

This is in the wrong forum. You should probably just open up a thread in the general handgun or semi auto forum as this one will probably be closed shortly.
Very nice Colt, btw. |
