40 S&W Nosler 135 JHP my test results

Ok I soaked some american rifleman mags over night
Then shot them with my 40 135 JHP load it went like this. No denim to start with. This load is out of a SIG P229 its smoking.

135 Nosler JHP at 1482
1st shot 76 grains dia .552
2nd shot 74 grains dia .663
3rd shot 77 grains .703
4th shot 76 grains dia. .643

Nosler 135 JHP at 1482 and 12 layers of Denim

1st shot 135 grains dia. .900
2nd shot 133 grains dia. .960
3rd shot 135 grains dia. 1.043
4th shot 126 grains dia. .864

Tried a 357 mag also

125 Winchester JHP at 1520 fps
1st shot 68 grains dia. 550
2nd shot 63 grains. dia. .592

357 mag Denim 12 layers
1st shot 125 grains dia. .690


All shot went about 14 mags deep without the Denim .Shots went about 18 mags deepwith Denim.

Wow, I would like to see some of the denim bullet pictures. A 135 an inch across has to be THIN!!

Can you do digital pictures?

That can do it. I spend all my money on guns and powder. Will work for food. I will get it done in a few days,
