Motherload!

Picked up a huge score a while back. Got a Dillon 550b with 8 toolheads and dies, 11k primers, 32 lbs of various powders, 7k new brass in 223,38,357,44,45colt, 45 acp,308,243, 41mag, and 10mm. Rcbs 1010 scale, Lyman tumbler, and over 100 lbs of cast bullets and premium bullets. All for 700.00. Santa came early this year. I just got it all set up. I built an 8 ft bench and all of this stuff takes up the whole bench lol. I deprimed and sized about 500 brass today and it was a breeze on the 550.

Good bargain considering today's prices!

Great score, Glad to hear it. I am with the rest--I hate you too. Maybe it's just were I live, but I have never ran into a deal like that or even close.

Lol I thought the same thing. It was from a widow and it was sold through a family friend. I called them back to inquire as to a piece missing from the set and he said she was on a sabbatical to her condo in Borneo! So much for desperate old widow!

An engineer died in 1995.
Another engineer got hundreds of pounds of reloading gear.
It sat in his garage in boxes until 2007 when it was given to me.
A Dillion 550B set up for 223 and 9mm was part of it.
I gave that away.
But did not not give away the rest of it.
I probably have 20 years left to live, and then the next guy will get all this stuff.
At the rate I am going, I will have only used up 10% of it by then.
I was grateful for all the primers in 2008.

Shooterbob,

that sounds a lot like a deal I was trying to work out with a fellow. I simply couldn't come up with the cash. The difference was he had about three times the components, and 5 presses to go with it. It all went as a "LOT" and he wasn't budging on the price or breaking it up, it was all or nothing. I think it all went for $3500 IIRC. Sure wished I would have been able to pick it up. I know I could have easily recouped the money and still ended with at least one press and a LOT of stuff to go with it.

I just picked up a Dillon 550b and a Rock Chucker, RCBS vibrating cleaner, media seperator, case trimmer, 5 tool heads set up with 40/10mm, 45 acp, 223, 308 and 44, dies for the Rock Chucker for 223 and 308, 16 pounds powder, brass, bullets, book the RCBS auto matic scale...Basically everything I needed for $1500.

It pretty much filled the 4x8 bench I have.

Your deal is awesome!
